Eternals

Reading Secret Invasion I came across some Eternals, so I went to the beginning and started reading the original series by Kirby. It continues over by Thor and then there is a limited series, but somewhere in the middle, some of the Eternals (most of  them, actually, but those you never knew much about ) go to space.
This happens in some issues of The Avengers, 246-248, so that is what I'm reading right now.

New Avengers

New Avengers 33-37 and Annual (1 and 2).
The Hood makes his move. An army of bad guys ends up trashing the New Avengers hideout in Strange's home. Next: captain Marvel.

The Hood, Gravity, Beyond.

Short limited series, all good stuff.

Secret Invasion...

New Avengers 31 and 32: Excellent dialog and impressive art.
Avengers: The initiative Annual 1: boring.
Mighty Avengers 7. Bendis keeps it up, but I don't like Bagley's art so much.

What to read next? the old reading-order problem... I decided in favor of the following Mighty Avengers issues. Then, before jumping to New Avengers, I'll catch up on The Hood.

The New Avengers: Illuminati

What did the Illuminati do in the Skrull homeworld? I've seen this referenced but it doesn't appear in the series.
Some of the issues are not so good as the first and last ones.

Skrull Kill Krew

5 issues by Millar and Morrison. They were not so hot writers back then (september 1995). A bit of fun, but no substance...

Avengers 93-97

The Kree Skrull war seems to be better in memory than actually reading it on paper. The story is convoluted and sounds like a lot of retcons patched together, not like there was an actual plan behind it. Moving on....
